Pastoral Care is essential to the mission of the Lutheran Homes and Health Services. With respect for each person’s religious preference, worth, tradition and dignity our Pastoral Care strives to meet the spiritual needs of the people we serve through the expression of the Christian Gospel.
Chaplaincy services, available to residents, family and staff, include ecumenical worship services led by our full time chaplain, Catholic Mass, various Lutheran services, specialized music events, Bible studies, discussion and education groups, visitations of residents, religious counseling, memorial services and funerals. Lutheran Homes and Health Services is an affiliated and recognized social ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and a corporate partner with local Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod congregations.

Thank you for the care you have given Kurt and Ina Frederick. The staff on 2nd floor has been very friendly and considerate. I know it hasn't been easy many times. The patience for all the elderly has been more than some people could handle.
Thanks again for all the time spent. I really appreciate the calls you gave me keeping me informed on the health and condition of Kurt.
